VTU Online Course Certificate Upload 2026: Revised Dates for NPTEL, MOOC, Audit Courses & Societal Project
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has issued a revised schedule for colleges to upload certificates related to VTU Online Courses, NPTEL, MOOC, Audit Courses and Societal Projects for the June-July 2026 academic session.
As per the VTU circular dated August 12, 2026, the revised online entry window will be open from August 13 to August 23, 2026.
The instructions apply to VTU University Departments, Constituent Engineering Colleges and Affiliated Engineering Colleges.

Colleges have been asked to instruct the faculty coordinators handling PG programmes to upload the relevant course certificates in the VTU portal.
How to Upload VTU Course Certificates
Colleges can complete the online entry by following these steps:
- Visit the VTU examination portal: prexam.vtu.ac.in
- Click on Online Courses/NPTEL/MOOC/Audit Course/Societal Project.
- Log in using the College Department Login Credentials.
- Enter the required student and course details.
- Upload the required certificate/document.
Important Instructions for Colleges
VTU has specified the following requirements:
- The coordinator must ensure that each student has satisfactorily completed the Online Course/NPTEL/MOOC/Audit Course/Societal Project courses for the stipulated duration prescribed under the scheme.
- A hard copy of the Course Completion Certificate for each student must be submitted to the office of the Registrar (Evaluation).
- The certificate uploaded to the portal must match the hard copy submitted.
- Any discrepancy may lead to cancellation of the degree, with the institute being held responsible.
Document Upload Requirements
Colleges should follow these requirements while uploading the documents:

If a document is uploaded incorrectly, a resent option is available at the department level before the Principal finalizes the date.
The Principal of the college must finalize all entries. After finalization, the Generate Report Button will be enabled. The online-generated report must then be submitted along with the hard copy of the course completion certificate.
