In addition, he/she is to develop and provide contents relating to above subject for various publications of the Institute. The incumbent should possess expert knowledge on content development relating to different aspects of Economics, Finance and Taxation. He/She should also have exposure in Trade, Industry and Profession. [e.g. Chartered Secretary/Taxman/Management Accountant/ ET/Hindu Business Line/ Chartered Accountant, etc]. Intensive and extensive professional and general reading habit is a must.

Job Profile
True research is creation of knowledge and not mere data mining, copying and pasting. After vast and intensive reading, understanding and teaching, Research Officers should be able to frame and explore hypothesis through research methodologies like questionnaires; organizational surveys; interviewing; interaction with groups; etc. They will write research publications showing creation of knowledge useful for practical application by corporates. They will learn, teach, interact in newly developing ways. They should be conversant with electronic and digital audio-visual apparatus. Ideally they will show minds that are not set but open and able to break barriers and dissect new knowledge. They will ideate and pursue new ideas into practical corporate world exploring their application, confirming or disproving hypothesis. Knowledge of algebra, calculus and coordinate geometry will be an added advantage.
